📝 What is Life’s Too Short about?:

Vanessa Price’s globetrotting dream takes an unexpected turn when she becomes the guardian of her half-sister’s baby daughter. Life becomes a whirlwind of chaos and unexpected feelings, especially when hot lawyer Adrian Copeland offers his assistance. As Vanessa navigates this new reality, she must confront her fears and embrace the possibility of a future she never imagined.

📚 Genre: Romance
🎧 Format: E-Book
💞 Feels: ⭐⭐⭐

Might be my least favorite of the series, but possibly because I’m frustrated with the stakes that were set up for the romance. But I guess now I know the author’s not afraid to put possible death of a character on the table….I’ve already experienced her killing a character in another book. 🫠

The friendship and chemistry between Vanessa and Adrian was palpable. The inclusion of the family dynamics was stepped up a bit from the previous book in the series, The Happy Ever After Playlist. I can see the kernels of where the stories evolved to include a cast of characters, like in the Part of Your World Series.

I found Vanessa’s family to be more of a distraction than I would’ve liked, wanted to see more of the main characters together, but I get that they’re involvement was part of Vanessa’s issues.

✅ Spinoff novella nomination:

Adrian’s assistant or Vanessa’s influencer friend. We could find out how he and Vanessa’s videographer ended up together.
