📚 Genre: Romantasy
🎧 Format: E-Book
💞 Feels: ⭐⭐⭐⭐🌶️

I needed more of Violet and Xaden (I sound like a broken record, I think I say this with every romance book). This book is more of a 4.5 star. Goodreads won’t let me do that, but StoryGraph will. I loved the slow evolution of the mystery and world building. In typical fashion the protagonist is feeling like an imposter. But she’ll discover her own unique power – that will save everyone at the end of the series 😏

Enjoyed the slow burn of the romance, a few times I wasn’t quite sure I’d pinned the right main couple. Daine was definitely confusing me, like – my guy, are you the first or second male lead?! Hoping Daine will find some redemption in the next books. He reminded me of Chaol Westfall (Throne of Glass series). So I want him to redeem himself and find love, like Chaol did. But if Daine’s gonna be a villain, he needs to get less annoying and more sinister. Take a page out of Xaden’s book!

✅ Spinoff novella nomination:

My spinoff novella is to learn more about Rhiannon and have her story expanded.
